People across the UK are still weighing up how last week’s Comprehensive Spending Review will effect them. We know that the LGB&T Voluntary and Community Sector were vulnerable before the review.>
We need assurances that there will be money available to tackle homophobic and transphobic bullying in schools, that the promised improvements in the recording of homophobic and transphobic hate crimes are made real, that LGB&T health inequalities are addressed, and that the government are still committed to ending homophobia and transphobia at home and abroad.
We are urging the decision makers to make sure that the cuts are fair and that the needs of LGB&T people are recognised.
Here is a link to a customisable letter that you can post, or copy and paste in to the contact forms online and submit to the decision makers. The more letters and emails the decision makers receive, the more they’ll take notice of our concerns.
Thanks for your continued support.
