Good News from Derbyshire Friend

Dear Volunteers and Members,

We are delighted to learn that out Big Lottery bid has been successful, this gives us funding for 3 years. Derbyshire Friend has worked with the LGBT Community for over 30 years and this gives us the chance to continue this support and to develop further.

These funds will allow us to improve the lives of LGBT people by delivering our services across the City and County. We will be focussing on improving their health and wellbeing, both physically and emotionally.

With Regards

LGBT Health & Wellbeing Survey

Health and Wellbeing Survey for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) Communities in Derby City and Derbyshire County

Derbyshire Friend has been commissioned by NHS Derby City and NHS Derbyshire County to carry out a survey of LGBT health and well-being. The aim of the survey is to gather reliable information about the health needs and experiences of LGBT people in Derby City and Derbyshire County to shape future healthcare provision and planning. For too long services have relied on assumptions and national data to try and guess the needs of local LGBT people, so now is your opportunity to say what it is you need and your thoughts and feelings in relation to healthcare services. This is the first time this has been done on this scale locally and is your key opportunity to effect change.

Please forward this message to your networks, groups, friends, family and colleagues as we hope to get as many responses as possible from a diverse range of people.

By completing the survey you are eligible to enter the prize draw for an Asus Nexus 7 tablet PC!
