Health and Wellbeing Survey for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans (LGBT) Communities in Derby City and Derbyshire County
Derbyshire Friend has been commissioned by NHS Derby City and NHS Derbyshire County to carry out a survey of LGBT health and well-being. The aim of the survey is to gather reliable information about the health needs and experiences of LGBT people in Derby City and Derbyshire County to shape future healthcare provision and planning. For too long services have relied on assumptions and national data to try and guess the needs of local LGBT people, so now is your opportunity to say what it is you need and your thoughts and feelings in relation to healthcare services. This is the first time this has been done on this scale locally and is your key opportunity to effect change.
Please forward this message to your networks, groups, friends, family and colleagues as we hope to get as many responses as possible from a diverse range of people.

By completing the survey you are eligible to enter the prize draw for an Asus Nexus 7 tablet PC!
Eileen Fry from the University of Derby’s Multi-Faith Centre has been involved in a European Project on Religious Diversity and Anti-Discrimination Training for the last five years and is currently helping to develop a module on “Reconciling Religion, Gender and Sexuality” (To date, this is just a working title.)
Eileen is currently trying to gather case studies which would help her to facilitate activities on reconciliation (or not as the case maybe) and exploring personal spirituality.
If you are happy to be interviewed, all anonymous of course, please get in touch with her on firstname.lastname@example.org
