Sometimes saying something out loud, such as ‘I think I might be gay’ can be a really difficult thing. Sometimes just knowing that you have the option of a confidential space to explore how you feel with someone to listen to you can be a relief.
As part of our Drop-In services and social support groups, Derbyshire LGBT+ is proud to offer a confidential supportive listening service to anyone who identifies as LGBT+ or questioning, or their partners, friends and family members.
LGBT issues that you might want to discuss could be about coming out to your family or work colleagues, your relationships with friends or family, anxiety and fears, bereavement or mental health issues, or exploring your gender identity or sexual orientation. Whatever you want to say, if you think would benefit from talking in confidence to our friendly, knowledgeable and experienced staff and volunteer team, then do get in touch with us.
