Our Open Door Drop In is open:
Wednesday from 10am to 1pm
Thursday from 1pm to 4pm
Throughout the week, Derbyshire LGBT+ offers an ‘Open Door’ Drop-In Service.
The Drop-In service is open to anybody who identifies as LGBT+, as well as their friends and families.
Join us on a Wednesday between 10am to 1pm for drop in, in which you can speak to a member of the team, or just come along and have a coffee and use the space with the library of LGBT+ books to use.
Thursday, 1-4pm- in which you can speak to a member of the team, or just come along and have a coffee and use the space with the library of LGBT+ books to use.
During these sessions, you can speak confidentially to a member of our experienced staff or our volunteer team about any issues that may be troubling you. This includes issues around health, well-being, employment or legal rights. If your issues can’t be solved at the drop-in an appointment with the right member of our team can be made for another time.
You can also use the Drop-In service to make use of our comfortable lounge area, relax and chat, catch up on the latest issues of Diva, BCN, Attitude and Gay Times magazines, and browse and borrow books and DVDs from our dedicated library. Hot and cold drinks are available.
So why not pop in and see what your local LGBT+ community centre can do for you?
