IDAHOBIT Day 2022

May 17th is International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), and the theme for 2022 is ‘Our Bodies, Our Lives, Our Rights’. The day is marked worldwide, including in 37 countries where same sex acts are still illegal.

We will be holding a number of events to mark this:

12pm - 1pm: A free introductory LGBT+ awareness session at both our Derby & Chesterfield sites. This is open to anyone but targeted more towards businesses and organisations that are determined to create a more inclusive and equal environment for both their staff and clientele. To book your free place you can email us at info@derbyshirelgbt.org.uk or follow the link below to book your space via Eventbrite.

6:30pm - 8pm: We will also be holding a social evening at our Chesterfield Centre where we can get together for refreshments and a relaxed chat about the issues we currently face as a community.

Both events are for those ages 18 and over.

We hope to see many of you there!
